IOC President spoke to international media in Tokyo

Jacques Rogge, president of the International Olympic Committee participated professional luncheon at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan and discussed issues including Tokyo’s possible bid for the 2020 Summer Olympics, 2012 Games in London and the Olympic Movement. During the Question and answer sessions, he indicated necessity for baseball and softball to form a unified body to apply reinstatement of the sports to 2020 Summer Olympic games and for baseball to send best athlethes. Kazu Tawa, 1st VP of IBAF and Tony Castro (Cuba), 3rd VP greeted President Rogge after the conference.
