Elections held for Pan-American Baseball body
Mexican Baseball Federation leader Alonso Perez was elected president
LAUSANNE, Switzerland Monday, April 27, 2015 (By IBAF) – Elections were recently held at the Congress of the Pan American Baseball Confederation, where Mexican Baseball Federation leader Alonso Perez was elected president of the Pan-Am baseball body.
Twenty-five of the 29 Pan-American Baseball members representing baseball across the Americas participated in the congress, which was hosted conjointly in San Salvador by the El Salvador Baseball Federation under President Federico Lopez and the El Salvador Olympic Committee under President Eduardo Palomo.
The congress that united leaders of Pan-American Baseball, which is WBSC’s Americas baseball branch, was also attended by WBSC Vice President and IOC member Reynaldo Gonzalez.

Following the elections, Enrique Mayorga (MEX) was named Executive Director of Pan American Baseball.
