Korea Baseball Association with new President
The Korea Baseball Association (KBA) held its ordinary congress on February 1, 2013. During the meeting Mr. Lee, Byung-Suk was elected as new KBA President. He is a deputy speaker at the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea and has been serving as a member of the National Assembly since 2000.
Mr. Lee emphasized that he would seek various financial resources for development and dissemination of baseball in Korea. He will focus his full attention on efforts to develop educational programs for players, coaches and umpires.
Furthermore with his experience in a field of national administration, foreign affairs and international commerce, he will make utmost effort to develop not only baseball in Korea, but also international baseball during his four-year term. He will make every endeavor to foster good relations with international baseball families and communities.
