2011 WCBF opened in Kaohsiung

The 2011 World Children's Baseball Fair (WCBF) in Kaohsiung Chinese Taipei is being held from July 27th to August 4th.

The event, opened by baseball legend Sadaharu Oh, who hit a world record 868 home-runs in the Japanese Major Leagues gives 500 children from 19 countries the opportunity to learn the skills of baseball in a cross cultural environment.

The 2011 event is co-hosted by the WCBF Foundation, Japan Amateur Baseball Association （JABA） and Kaohsiung City and also features Coaches chosen by IBAF from different countries.
