Osaka Gas wins 45th National Championship of the Japan Amateur Baseball Association (JABA)
The final game of the 45th National Championship of the Japan Amateur Baseball Association (JABA) co-hosted by The Mainichi Newspaper, and participated by 32 teams held at Kyocera Dome Osaka on November 4, 2019. Osaka Gas won for the first time in their 80 years of the Club’s history. By blocking Nippon Life’s attempt to claim the title for the 4th time, 4 – 1.
Pitcher SAKAMOTO Taijyu (Osaka Gas) awarded MVP, HIROMOTO Takuya (Nippon Life) received Fighting Spirit Award, Batting Award FURUKAWA Kouki (Osaka Gas) and the Leading Hitter was HIROMOTO Takuya (Nippon Life) at .667.
