IOC President IOC President Encourages “Reconstruction Ambassadors” from Tohoku Region

International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach invited 5 teenage "reconstruction ambassadors" from Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures in the Tohoku region, Japan, to watch Olympic baseball-softball together with him in Fukushima. Bach hosted the students in Lausanne on Monday, 1 April, and said he was impressed by the work that the ambassadors had done in their communities.
