The Fiji Baseball and Softball Association Values New Partnership with Japan

Thanks to the new partnership with Tokyo Yomiuri Giants Baseball Academy through the JICA/JOCV program and Fiji coach Kento Oshima, former Professional Tokyo Giants player and now coach Atsushi KITA accompanied by Yuta Aoyagi Fiji Baseball U15 and U12 players learned from them the latest baseball training methods in Suva for a week in December.

The Fiji Baseball and Softball Association recognizes that young crops of baseball players in Fiji have improved tremendously after a week of basic fundamental and modern baseball training. With the strengthening of partnership between Fiji Baseball and Japan, the Associating expressed appreciation to the Japan International Cooperation Agency and Yomiuri Tokyo Giants Academy for supporting and assisting the development of Baseball in Fiji.
