2017 Season opened for Japanese Industrial League by the 72nd JABA Tokyo – Sports Nippon Championship participated by 16 teams and won by Toyota Motors by beating Honda Motors 6-1 at Meiji Jingu Stadium on March 14, 2017The championship kicked off on March 11, the day of 6 year anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake and all the participating teams offered a silent prayerToyota got the pennant of the tournament for the first time after their 13 attempts in the past and is qualified to participate in the 43rd Industrial League’s Japanese championship in Osaka from October 30 to November 11, 2017.
