88th National High School Baseball Invitational Tournament in Progress

Naoya Himoto, Kagawa Prefecture’s Shodoshima High School team captain, pledges fair play at the opening ceremony of the spring National Invitational High School Baseball Championship at Koshien Stadium in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, on Sunday.
Thirty-two teams, including defending champion Tsuruga Kehi of Fukui Prefecture, are taking part in the tourney.
