Okinawa Shogaku High and Asia University Claim Victory

When the 6th inning ended at the final game of High School Tournament, Nihon Bunri High School was leading the game 8 – 0, every one in the ball park thought that the game was virtually over. However, Okinawa Shogaku High scored upset victory by scoring 9 runs in 7th and 8 innings (See score board) to win the high school championship, thus qualifying for the 84th National Invitational High School Championship at Koshien Stadium in Nishinomiya from March 21, 2014.

In the University section, Asia University of Tohto University Baseball League beat Meiji University 2-1, recording 7th win in the Autumn National Championship.

10 Regional high school champions and 11 university champions have participated in the 42nd Meiji Jingu (Shrine) National Championship at Meiji Jingu Stadium in Tokyo for 5 days from November 23.
