82,000 a day for National High School Championship in Koshien Stadium

The 93rd National High School Baseball Championship at Hanshin Koshien Stadium in Nishinomiya City had capacity crowd of about 47,000 a day for 3 consecutive days from August 13, with an aggregate total of 82,000 fans per day for the 3 games on August 15, a new record since the stadium’s renovation in 2009.

At 12:00 noon on the anniversary day to mark the end of the war, the game was temporarily suspended and the entire people in the stadium stood for silence. The Championship started on August 6 for 15 days and can be seen live on internet: koshien.asahi.co.jp/
