Regional High School All-Stars to Visit Hawaii

At the invitation of the Athletic Director and COA-CHS Association of Hawaii, Neil Takamori Chairman, an 18 member’s All-Star team selected from the 4 Prefectural High School Baseball Federations in Shikoku will visit for friendly games in Hawaii from August 11 to 20.

The bi-annual exchanges between Hawaii and Japan started in 1953 by the 442 Veterans Club of Hawaii to help Japan's reconstruction efforts after the War, and count 26 times including the forthcoming 13th visit from Japan.
The Japanese regional All-Star teams take turns among 9 areal divisions of the Japan High School Baseball Federation and the Hawaiian All-Stars tour the region in Japan every two years before their visit to Hawaii.
